For the second year in a row, after a 10-year absence, Longines is back in the starting gate, ready for the thrills and excitement that only an extraordinary sport like skiing can offer to its spectators. Longines is, in fact, the Official Timekeeper of the FIS Alpine World Cup 2007-2008. For the Swiss watch brand, timekeeping is a true vocation that will be placed at the service of the twenty-three races that will be held starting on November 10 in Levi (Finland) and ending on March 16 in Bormio (Italy) for the World Cup final. To underline its return to the world of skiing, Longines signed a contract with Aksel Lund Svindal, Norwegian skiing champion, and appointed him the new Ambassador of Elegance in the sports world.
